Hirakawa (平川市, Hirakawa-shi) is a city located in Aomori Prefecture, Japan. As of 31 January 2023[update], the city had an estimated population of 30,086 in 14,181 households,[1] and a population density of 89 persons per km2. The total area of the city is 346.01 square kilometres (133.60 sq mi).
