Hiroshi Tsuchida (土田 大, Tsuchida Hiroshi, born February 8, 1972 in Tokyo) is a Japanese voice actor and live-action actor affiliated with 81 Produce. He frequently dubs character voices from English-speaking films into Japanese for the local market. He is known for his role as Grisha Jaeger in Attack on Titan (2013–2023).
Tsuchida’s performance in a 1995 episode of Ninja Sentai Kakuranger, where his character is surprised by an assassin who exclaims, “Today is Friday in California!” and then attempts to shoot him, became a popular Internet meme in the early 2020’s.[1]
