The Off-Broadway production premiered at the Claire Tow Theater with previews starting on June 8, 2019, with an official opening date of June 27, 2019 and ran until August 4, 2019. The production was directed by Lee Sunday Evans, with orchestrations by McLean and Kris Kukul, and music direction by Ada Westfall.[3][4]
