Ina (伊那市, Ina-shi) is a city located in Nagano Prefecture, Japan. As of 1 March 2019[update], the city had an estimated population of 68,177 in 27587 households,[1] and a population density of 100 persons per km2. The total area of the city is 667.93 square kilometres (257.89 sq mi). In 2016, the former town of Takatō, now part of Ina, was selected as one of The Most Beautiful Villages in Japan.[2]
