Indus University, formerly Indus Institute of Technology and Engineering^{[citation needed]} is a private university established in 2006. In 2012, Indus received university status^[2] and was recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC). Indus University is an All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) approved university.
