Invercargill Central is the central business district and central suburb of Invercargill, in the Southland region of the South Island of New Zealand.
It has an estimated population of 1,560 as of June 2024.[2] Invercargill Central is the only area in Southland to contain commercial high rise buildings, which are the most southerly tall buildings in the world.[3]
