Special Units Command of FARAJA (Persian: فرماندهی یگانهای ویژه فراجا Yegānhā-ye vīzheh-ye pāsdārān-e FARAJA), acronymed YEGUP (Persian: یگوپ),[1] is a subdivision of Law Enforcement Command of the Islamic Republic of Iran in charge of its special forces.
The FARAJA Special Units were involved in the post-election protest suppression in 2009 and have forcefully put down multiple nationwide protests.[2]
