Isilkulsky District (Russian: Исильку́льский райо́н; Kazakh: Есілкөл ауданы, Esilkól aýdany) is an administrative[1] and municipal[3] district (raion), one of the thirty-two in Omsk Oblast, Russia. It is located in the southwest of the oblast. The area of the district is 2,800 square kilometers (1,100 sq mi).[citation needed] Its administrative center is the town of Isilkul (which is not administratively a part of the district).[1] Population: 18,942 (2010 Census);[2] 22,216 (2002 Census);[5] 22,691 (1989 Soviet census).[6]
