Jaigad (Marathi: जयगड) is a coastal village situated at the mouth of the Shástri river in Ratnagiri district of Maharashtra.[1] Jaigad village is renowned for its prominent attraction, Jaigad Fort, a significant sea fort in Maharashtra.
