Jake Weatherald (born 4 November 1994) is an Australian cricketer. Originally from Darwin in the Northern Territory,[1] he is an opening batsman who plays for South Australia in both first-class and one-day cricket and plays for the Adelaide Strikers in the Big Bash League. He had a breakout season in 2015–16, making his first-class debut for South Australia in the Sheffield Shield and scoring two half-centuries in the final. He has since had contracts with both South Australia and the Strikers in every season.
