Jamuna Nishad

Jamuna Prasad Nishad (1953 – 19 November 2010) was an Indian politician from the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP), representing the Pipraich constituency in the Uttar Pradesh Vidhan Sabha (Legislative Assembly). He belongs to Nishad Community of OBC. Nishad became the Minister for Fisheries in the Mayawati government,[1] but was forced to resign after being named on charges of murdering a policeman.[2] He was also named in eight other criminal charges.[3]
