Janet Patterson (12 August 1956 – 21 October 2016) was an Australian costume designer and production designer. She is best known for her collaborations with directors Gillian Armstrong and Jane Campion. She has been nominated for the Academy Award for Best Costume Design four times.
Janet was a wonder, a woman who worked internationally but who also cooked brilliantly, innovatively, loved gardens and most of all loved her family, her partner Al and her 18-year-old daughter Nina.
