Jeffrey J. Hawkins (born 1966) is an academic and former American diplomat who served as United States Ambassador to the Central African Republic from 2015 to 2017. He was the director of the American Library in Paris from 2017 to 2018,[1][2] and since then has taught at Sciences Po Lille, Sciences Po Saint-Germain-en-Laye and Leiden University.
