Jerome Thoms (October 7, 1907 – November 1, 1977) was an American film editor.[1][2]

He edited Blondie's Big Moment (1947),[3] Blondie's Holiday (1947),[4] The Chance of a Lifetime (1943),[5] A Close Call for Boston Blackie (1946),[6] The Devil's Mask (1946),[7] The Crimson Kimono (1959),[8] Underworld USA (1960),[9] Shock Corridor (1963), The Naked Kiss (1964),[10] West of Sonora (1948),[11] and So Dark the Night (1946).[12] He also edited What Makes Lizzy Dizzy? (1942) and Tireman, Spare my Tires (1942).[13] In Screaming Mimi (1958) he worked with Gene Havlick.[14]

Jerome Thoms' editing in The Crimson Kimono adds a percussive force to many of the action scenes.[15]

He worked as art director in Escape in the Fog (1945).[16]
