Joan Rosier-Jones (born 27 December 1940 in Christchurch) is a New Zealand novelist, playwright, short story writer and nonfiction writer, and teacher. She completed a Teacher's- A Certificate in Christchurch Teachers' College in 1958–59 and a Bachelor of Arts majoring in history and English.^[1]
