Joseph Russell Jones (born October 29, 1962) is an American football coach and former player. He currently serves as the wide receivers coach at Thompson High School in Alabaster, Alabama. He served as the special teams coordinator at Mississippi State for two seasons, hired by head coach, Joe Moorehead from 2018 to 2019. Jones served as the head football coach at the University of South Alabama from 2008 to 2017.
