John Byabagambi (born 8 May 1958) is a Ugandan engineer and politician. He was the Cabinet Minister for Karamoja Affairs, in the Cabinet of Uganda. He was appointed to that position on 6 June 2016,[1] and was replaced by Mary Goretti Kitutu on 8 June 2021.[2] He previously served as Minister of Works and Transport between March 2015 and June 2016,[3] replacing Abraham Byandala who was appointed Minister Without Portfolio.[4] He is also the elected Member of Parliament, representing Ibanda County South, Ibanda District. He was first elected to that position in 2001.[5]
