John XI Helou[1] (or Youhanna Helou, Al-Hilu; Arabic: يوحنا الحادي عشر الحلو, French: Jean el-Hélou, Latin: Iohannes Dolce; died May 12, 1823) was the 67th Maronite Patriarch of Antioch from 1809 until his death in 1823.

  1. ^ [The addition of the name Peter (in Arabic: Boutros) in his first name is customary for newly elected Maronite patriarchs; about Helou, acts of the Consistory of 1814 call him Johannes Petrus, and likewise the patriarch signature is Johannes Petrus patriarcha Antiochenus in the letter with a request to the pope the confirmation of his election.]
