John Joseph Tharp Jr. (born September 18, 1960)[1] is an American lawyer who has served as an United States district judge of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois since 2012. He concurrently serves as a judge of the United States Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court since 2018.
