Saint Justus of Trieste (also Justus the Martyr, Just of Trieste; Italian: San Giusto di Trieste, San Giusto martire; died on 2 November 293)[1] is a saint venerated in the Eastern Orthodox Church and Roman Catholic Church.

  1. ^ This is the date reported quite accurately in the codex Verona, Biblioteca Capitolare 39, f. 200 (9c). Other manuscripts do not give a precise date; as a consequence, scholars unaware of the MS Verona 39 placed the martyrdom of Justus in 303, at the onset of the general persecution of Christians by Diocletian.
