KALI (900 kHz) is a commercial AM radio station licensed to West Covina, California, and serving the eastern suburbs of Los Angeles. The station is owned by Multicultural Broadcasting and broadcasts Mandarin Chinese and other ethnic programming.
By day, KALI broadcasts at 5,000 watts. As 900 AM is a Mexican clear channel frequency reserved for XEW-AM in Mexico City, KALI reduces power to 150 watts at sunset. It uses a directional antenna with a three-tower array. The transmitter is on East Olive Avenue in Chino.[3]
