KKJO-FM (105.5 MHz) is a commercial radio station in St. Joseph, Missouri. It airs a Top 40 - CHR radio format known as K-Jo 105-5. It is owned by Eagle Communications, with studios and offices on Country Lane in St. Joseph.
KKJO is a Class C1 station. It has an effective radiated power (ERP) of 100,000 watts, the maximum for most FM stations. The transmitter is on Ottumwa Road at 140th Road, southwest of Wathena, Kansas.[1] The tower is about 10 miles (16 km) west of the Mississippi River.
