KLSQ (870 AM) is a commercial radio station broadcasting a Spanish sports radio format. Licensed to Whitney, Nevada, it serves the Las Vegas metropolitan area. The station is owned by the Latino Media Network. Under a local marketing agreement (LMA), it was programmed by previous owner TelevisaUnivision's Uforia Audio Network until 2024.
By day, KLSQ is powered at 5,000 watts non-directional. But because 870 AM is a clear channel frequency reserved for Class A WWL New Orleans, KLSQ must reduce power at night to 430 watts using a directional antenna to avoid interference. The transmitter is south of Mission Hills Park in Henderson.[2]
