Kayamozhi is a village 9km west of Thiruchendur in Thoothukudi District, Tamil Nadu, India.[1][2] Its was established in the 16th century as the capital of the old Vadapattu region.[3] Its name means "a place with no deficit of language" (Khaya(cannot dry)+Mozhi(language)). It has an elevation of 15m (49ft) above mean sea level.
