Kayla Mendoza is an American woman who was sentenced to 24 years in prison in 2015 after being convicted of killing two women while driving drunk in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, on November 17, 2013. She was 20 years old and not licensed to drive at the time. Mendoza is infamously known for tweeting: "2 drunk 2 care" hours before the fatal accident.[1]
Mendoza was born in Miami, Florida, and attended Hallandale High School.[3] She later lived in Coconut Creek, Florida.[4]
