Khlevensky District (Russian: Хле́венский райо́н) is an administrative[1] and municipal[3] district (raion), one of the eighteen in Lipetsk Oblast, Russia. It is located in the south of the oblast. The area of the district is 910 square kilometers (350 sq mi).[citation needed] Its administrative center is the rural locality (a selo) of Khlevnoye.[1] Population: 19,213 (2021 Census);[5] 20,208 (2010 Census);[2] 22,251 (2002 Census);[6] 24,106 (1989 Soviet census).[7] The population of Khlevnoye accounts for 31.3% of the district's total population.[5]
