Khuman Salai (Meitei: ꯈꯨꯃꯟ ꯁꯂꯥꯢ) (literally, "Khuman dynasty") is a clan, which probably ruled parts of Kangleipak (present day Manipur)[1] prior to subjugation by the Ningthouja dynasty (Mangang) c. 13th Century.[2][3] The Khuman-Lon Puya records information about their rule.[4] The rough translation of Khuman in English is a narrowed darkness.
