Kobayashi (小林市, Kobayashi-shi) is a city located in Miyazaki Prefecture, Japan. As of 1 May 2023[update], the city had an estimated population of 42,139 in 19144 households, and a population density of 75 persons per km2.[1] The total area of the city is 562.95 km2 (217.36 sq mi).
