Kostelec nad Labem (Czech pronunciation: [ˈkostɛlɛts ˈnadlabɛm]; German: Elbekosteletz) is a town in Mělník District in the Central Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 4,300 inhabitants. The historic town centre is well preserved and is protected by law as an urban monument zone.
