Krutikhinsky District (Russian: Крути́хинский райо́н) is an administrative[1] and municipal[4] district (raion), one of the fifty-nine in Altai Krai, Russia. It is located in the north of the krai. The area of the district is 2,051 square kilometers (792 sq mi).[2] Its administrative center is the rural locality (a selo) of Krutikha.[1] Population: 11,301 (2010 Census);[3] 13,944 (2002 Census);[6] 13,738 (1989 Soviet census).[7] The population of Krutikha accounts for 33.7% of the district's total population.[3]
