L'Estany (Catalan pronunciation: [ləsˈtaɲ]) is a municipality in the province of Barcelona and autonomous community of Catalonia, Spain. The municipality covers an area of 10.25 square kilometres (3.96 sq mi) and as of 2011 had a population of 393 people.and the population in 2014 was 407.[2] Since May 2015 it has been part of the new comarca of Moianès; previously it was in Bages.[4]
