Lake Placid: Legacy is a 2018 American-South African made-for-television Horror film directed by Darrell Roodt and stars Katherine Barrell, Tim Rozon, Sai Bennett and Joe Pantoliano. The film premiered on Syfy on May 28, 2018.[2][3] It is the sixth installment in the Lake Placid film series.[4] The film has its own story that tells the origin of how the crocodiles got to be in Lake Placid.
