Lauren LaVera (born June 14, 1994) is an American actress, stunt performer, martial artist, and writer. Following her breakthrough role as the resourceful heroine Sienna Shaw in the Terrifier franchise, she has become primarily known for her work within the horror genre. LaVera has received accolades for her performances, such as a Fangoria Chainsaw Award.
She began her career as a body double for Anya Taylor-Joy in M. Night Shyamalan's psychological thriller Split (2016) before her role as Sienna in Damien Leone's horror film Terrifier 2 (2022). LaVera reprised her role as Sienna in the sequel Terrifier 3 (2024), which debuted at number one at the United States box office. Additionally, she starred as art restorer Lisa Gray in Federico Zampaglione's The Well (2024). LaVera will appear in the upcoming films: Mike Flanagan's The Life of Chuck (2025), Darren Lynn Bousman's The Monster, and Leone's Terrifier 4.
On television, LaVera has appeared on Netflix's Iron Fist (2017), the Lifetime Christmas film A Taste of Christmas, Shudder's reality competition series The Boulet Brothers' Dragula's (2023), and NBC's Law & Order: Organized Crime (2024).
LaVera is actively writing a screenplay for a film she describes as a "Wild West slasher film."[1]
