The Leesmuseum voor Vrouwen (Reading museum for women) was an early library in Amsterdam, Netherlands where women could go to read. It subsequently also became a lending library. It was founded in 1877 and closed in 1966. The library joined the Dutch Women's Council, after the council was founded in 1898.[1][2]
