Li Zhengji, or Yi Jeong-gi (733 - 28 August 781[1]) was a Chinese military general, monarch, and politician of the Tang dynasty, originally of Goguryeo descent.

  1. ^ According to Tang Dezong's biography (vol.12) in Old Book of Tang, Li Zhengji died on the xin'mao day of the 8th month of the 2nd year of the Jian'zhong era; the date corresponds to 28 Aug 781 in the Julian calendar. According to his biography in New Book of Tang, Li Zhengji was 49 (by East Asian reckoning) when he died. Thus, his birth year should be in 733.
