Lima Puluh Kota Regency (meaning fifty towns in the Minangkabau language) is a regency (kabupaten) of West Sumatra province, Indonesia. It has an area of 3,273.40 km2 and had a population of 348,249 at the 2010 census[2] and 383,525 at the 2020 census;[3] the official estimate as at mid 2023 was 396.437 - comprising 198,680 males and 197,747 females.[1] The regency seat is the town of Sarilamak (in Harau District).
