Lionel Berry Joyner (1932-2001) was a Canadian chess master. He won the 1961 Canadian Chess Championship and was a Canadian Open Chess Championship medalist (1964). He also represented Canada at the 1951 World Junior Chess Championship and at the 1958 Chess Olympiad.[1]
