Lions Gate Entertainment Corp. (also known as Lions Gate Entertainment Corporation, and doing business as Lionsgate) is a Canadian-American entertainment company headquartered in Vancouver. It was founded by Frank Giustra on July 10, 1997, and domiciled in Vancouver, British Columbia, being incorporated there.[2]

Up until 2024, Lionsgate owned film and TV businesses under its own umbrella. They have since been spun off into Lionsgate Studios, of which Lionsgate owns 87%.
