Lynne Slater (also Hobbs) is a fictional character from the BBC soap opera EastEnders, portrayed by Elaine Lordan. She appears in the series between 18 September 2000 and 2 July 2004. Lynne is known for her strong opinions on right and wrong, although she often struggle to adhere to her own moral standards. She has a turbulent relationship with husband Garry Hobbs (Ricky Groves). Despite frequently criticizing Garry, it is Lynne's infidelity that jeopardizes their relationship well before Garry is unfaithful.
