Man on Fire (Italian: Un uomo sotto tiro, French: L'homme de feu) is a 1987 action thriller film directed by Élie Chouraqui and starring Scott Glenn and Jade Malle.[1] It is based on the 1980 novel of the same name by A. J. Quinnell, with a screenplay by Chouraqui, Sergio Donati, and Fabrice Ziolkowski. The rest of the cast includes Joe Pesci, Jonathan Pryce, Brooke Adams, Danny Aiello, and Paul Shenar.
Another film based on the same novel, also called Man on Fire, was released in 2004, directed by Tony Scott.
