A mandoline (US, /ˌmændəˈliːn, -ˈlɪn/^[1]) or mandolin (British, /ˌmandəˈlɪn/, /ˈmandəlɪn/, /ˈmandl̩ɪn/^[2]), is a culinary utensil used for slicing and for cutting juliennes; with suitable attachments, it can make crinkle-cuts.
