Marie Royce, (born Marie Thérèse Porter), is an American businesswoman, diplomat, and educator. She was the Assistant Secretary of State for Educational and Cultural Affairs from 2018-2021. She was nominated by President Donald Trump and was unanimously confirmed by the US Senate.[1][2] Royce was succeeded by Lee Satterfield on November 23, 2021.[3]
