Martin Thomas Meehan (born December 30, 1956) is an American academic administrator, politician, and attorney.[1] Since July 2015, Meehan has served as the President of the University of Massachusetts after serving as Chancellor of the University of Massachusetts Lowell since September 2007.[2][3]

Meehan, a Democrat, served in the United States House of Representatives from 1993 to 2007 as the Representative for Massachusetts's 5th congressional district.[4][5]
