This article is about the school founded in 1885. Not to be confused with Maryland Military Academy, the school founded in Oxford in 1847 by General Tench Tilghman or Maryland Nautical Academy, the school founded in 1897 by Oswald Tilghman.

Maryland Military and Naval Academy was a military academy in Oxford, Maryland that opened in 1885 and closed in 1887.[1] It served as a preparatory school for the U.S. Naval Academy and the United States Military Academy, matching both in size and activity.[2][3]
