Matthew Stephen Klimow[2][3] (born June 10, 1952)[4] is an American diplomat who had served as the United States Ambassador to Turkmenistan. On August 31, 2020, Klimow assumed office as the acting Inspector General of the Department of State and left on December 11.[5]
