Melrose is a community in Monroe County, Iowa, United States. The population was 110 at the time of the 2020 census.[3] Melrose is known as Iowa's "Little Ireland". As such, the majority of the 110 population are Irish Catholics.[citation needed] Melrose is part of Iowa’s 3rd congressional district.[4]
