"Mene" (/məˈn/ mə-NAY) is a single by American rock band Brand New, first released as a free download on April 13, 2015, before being made available through online retailers on April 15, 2015. This was the band's first release in six years, the last being their 2009 studio album Daisy.[1][2][3] The track is a stand-alone single. It was followed by the release of I Am a Nightmare.

The title "Mene" along with many of the song's lyrics are thought to reference the idiom "The writing on the wall" which originates from the Chapter 5 of the Book of Daniel.[4] The song appeared on an episode of the television show The Vampire Diaries.[5]
