Doyle Merwin Coad (born September 28, 1924) is an American retired minister and politician from Iowa. A member of the Democratic Party, he served as a member of the United States House of Representatives for three terms from 1957 to 1963. His election snapped the Republican Party's fourteen-year hold on every U.S. House seat from Iowa.
As of September 2024, Coad is the earliest-serving living member of the House (as well as the last living former U.S. representative who assumed office in the 1950s), having been first elected in 1956. He has had this distinction since the death of John Dingell in February 2019, who assumed office in 1955.
