Michael Kent Hooper (born 29 October 1991) is an Australian former professional rugby union player who is the former captain of the Australia national team, the Wallabies.[3] His primary position is openside flanker.

Hooper is one of Australia's most-capped players of all time and played for the New South Wales Waratahs in Super Rugby from 2013-2023. He played for the Australian national rugby sevens team in 2024. Hooper has previously represented the Brumbies and Toyota Verblitz in his professional career.
