Michael VI (Greek: Μιχαήλ; Latin: Mihael), surnamed Bringas (Greek: Βρίγγας) and called Stratiotikos or Stratioticus ("the Military One", "the Warlike", or "the Bellicose") or Gerontas ("the Old"), reigned as Byzantine emperor from 1056 to 1057.
